Zeptris is inspired by Tetris™️, the famous Russian game with blocks of different shapes falling, but here you have realistic physics where blocks collide, rotate, and move according to their mass and the applied forces.

This creates a new gameplay where you have to pay attention to weights, balance, and all the forces involved.

Be also careful not to let blocks drop off the platform: the platform will rise when that happens.

Three game modes are available (so basically three games in one):

  • Classic: complete lines of 10 pieces (or more)
  • 80%: pack the blocks to fill at least 80% of the area up to the highest block
  • Load it: just load as much weight as you can without losing blocks.

How to play

  • Rotate counterclockwise/clockwise with and E keys
  • Move left/right by one step with A and D or  left/right arrow keys
  • Let the block fall with S or down arrow key
  • You can also drag left, right, or down with your mouse or finger for more precise movements
  • And you can let all non-scoring blocks fall off the platform with SPACEBAR (but you'll get a penalty, so use this with care)
  • Pause the game with ESC

Note: only blocks that are placed in a stable, straight, and orthogonal position can score points; if some blocks are askew, you can try to straighten them by hitting them.

If you have an Android mobile, get the Zeptris app from Google Play for a better experience.
